Meet the bands:

Bear Park

Bear Park are a Newcastle-based surf driven rock trio who’ve been shaking up the scene since they were 15. Blending catchy hooks with a groovy, 60s-inspired edge, they’ve hit venues all across the North and beyond, including supporting The Libertines. Their 2024 debut album, produced by Gary Powell, has fans vibing hard to their smooth songwriting and infectious energy.

Chloe & The Brainwaves

Chloe & the Brainwaves came together after years of playing in bands, mixing influences from Jeff Buckley to Big Thief. Chloe’s haunting vocals over gritty guitar riffs and infectious hooks make their sound addictive.

Central Arcade

Central Arcade, the alt-rock outfit from Newcastle, burst onto the scene in late 2023. From pub gigs to supporting bands across the North East, they’ve quickly made a name for themselves. After winning RGS' Battle of the Bands in April, they dropped their debut single Apple Of Your Eye, which earned a spin on BBC Introducing North East.
